Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the master’s in computer engineering program, you’ll need to have:

  • a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a field related to computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering,
  • a satisfactory GRE score,
  • three letters of recommendation,
  • statement of purpose, and
  • the online application.

There are curriculum prerequisites that you may need to take if your undergraduate degree does not include all of the required courses.

Master's in Computer Engineering Curriculum

In our master’s in computer engineering program, you can choose either the thesis track or the non-thesis track.

The thesis track for the computer engineering master’s program requires 24 hours of coursework and 6 credit hours of thesis work.

The non-thesis track requires that you complete 33 hours of coursework, 6 of which will be dedicated to a special project that you will design and lead.
